Meet the new business putting Bramley on the Pilates map...

This month’s Business Spotlight gets phsyical with HKôre Studios

  • What your name and what do you do when not running your business?
My name is Holly, and when I’m not running my business, I’m usually doing something adventurous or creative. I love running, horse riding, hiking, heading off in our camper van… or driving my husband slightly mad trying to sing and play piano.
  • How long have you been in Bramley?
We got the keys to our Bramley studio at Whipley Manor Farm on 1st December 2025.
  • What does your business do?
HKôre Studios is a Reformer Pilates studio where evidence-based teaching meets joyful, fearless movement.
  • What do your customers like most about your business?
    In their own words:
“I really like the ethos at the studio - it’s inclusive and promotes positivity and the joy of movement. I feel part of something without having to do the admin!”

“Sounds dramatic but quite life-changing - HKôre has hugely helped me heal my relationship with my body and with exercise.”

“I love how friendly and welcoming HKôre is. All the Pilates teachers are incredible and bring their own unique style. Over the past (almost three years) I’ve become so much stronger and more flexible. My running injury is under control and I’m addicted!”

  • What would you like people to discover about your business? (Fun or silly fact!)
That we genuinely have the most awesome team at HKôre. We’re a bunch of silly, fun, strong, talented women who don’t take ourselves too seriously, but are deeply passionate about helping people move fearlessly and with joy. Community is at the heart of what we do, and we run monthly Kormmunity events.
  • What’s the first job you ever had?
Working for my parents at their wholesale garden nursery, planting seedlings and plugs. I was young enough to be falling asleep on the job!
  • Best thing about Bramley?
The community has been so incredibly supportive; it's been really heartwarming to feel so welcomed. And the countryside walks are gorgeous too!

Quick fire round:

  • What three items would you take to a desert island (apart from your phone)?
I would absolutely not take my phone - although I’d probably regret that eventually! I’d take some tools, a tarp, and some food. I’m taking this very seriously.
  • If your business had a theme song, what would it be?
    I’m Every Woman - Chaka Khan/Whitney Houston
  • Which famous person would you like to visit your business?
Ncuti Gatwa. We’re best friends… he just doesn’t know it yet.
