All about Bramley, Surrey

Bramley is a vibrant village and civil parish of around 4,800 residents, steeped in history from Saxon origins to its distinctive conservation character.

Our community thrives on local engagement whether you're wandering the Downs Link walking trail (a converted railway path), browsing artisanal creations, joining the fun at the village fete on Gosden Common or cheering at our Bonfire Night in November. As an initiative of Bramley Business Network, Discover Bramley champions village-led creativity from flag‑design bunting projects to supporting local growers, makers and events. Whether you’ve lived here for years or you’re just discovering us, there’s always more to explore, celebrate, and share.

Rooted in a proud past and driven by shared ambition, we champion collaboration, creativity, and community spirit.

Who are the BBN?

At Bramley Business Network (BBN), we believe in the power of community, collaboration, and creativity to shape a better future for our village. We’re more than a business network, we’re a movement to promote Bramley as a vibrant and thriving gem; a place where people want to visit, live, and work.

We envision a future where Bramley’s unique charm is not only preserved but celebrated, where our high street is buzzing, our businesses are booming, and our community spirit shines through every shopfront, market, and local event.

We’re here to connect local businesses, foster meaningful partnerships, and build momentum for a stronger, more dynamic Bramley. By celebrating what makes our village special, we aim to put Bramley back on the map.

Gill Longdon

As a long-time Bramley resident and former Golf Club Chair, I value our village’s history, community and local businesses. Aware of the challenges they’ve faced, I co-founded the Bramley Business Network to lobby for support and help build a sustainable future for the business community.

As the founder of No Naked Walls on Bramley High Street, I’m passionate about showcasing original art and supporting local creativity. I co-founded the Bramley Business Network  in response to the challenges the businesses faced in 2024 to help businesses connect, grow and thrive. The Discover Bramley campaign is to help establish Bramley as a destination for culture, shopping, and community.
