A new five-week glass course is launching this April, offering a hands-on introduction to a range of beautiful glass techniques.

Over the 5 sessions we will cover the techniques of leading, copper foiling & kiln forming/fusing.

You will learn how to prepare glass for fusing, cut glass, solder, cement & polish as well as acquiring an understanding of the fundamental differences between the usage of stained glass & fusing glass.

You will produce a beautiful panel incorporating all three glass techniques, choosing from a selection of designs developed to give you scope to create a truly unique piece, with you making design & colour choices along the way.

Completing this course will give you a basic foundation to build upon, giving you the knowledge to expand on your chosen technique or indeed on all three if you choose to continue with this beautiful craft.

This is the perfect opportunity to get creative with glass, dip your toe in & potentially get hooked 🤩

The cost of the course is £400.

This includes all materials & tuition plus use of the tools needed to complete your piece & kiln firing.The class size will be a maximum of 4 students, giving you a relaxed, intimate & in-depth learning experience.
